On Thursday 1st September, Conservative Women's Organisation Area Chairman, Louise Brice hosted a stellar panel of women for a Kent-focused Ask Her to Stand online event.
Speakers included, County Cllr and Kent County Council Cabinet Member, Shellina Prendergast; Deputy Leader of Canterbury City Council, Rachel Carnac; and Association Chairman and previous senior Surrey County Cllr, Sally-Ann Marks.
Audience members were at different stages of their journey to be councillors and appreciated the panel's detailed feedback on strategies to build and develop their applications and campaigns.
Louise commented, 'We were all so grateful to this amazing panel of women for their generosity of time and sharing of their clear expertise. Their enthusiasm for the difference that being a Cllr can make to communities was evident too. They are an incredible group of mentors."
CWO Kent hope to hold future events, so please contact Louise via [email protected] if you are interested in membership of the Conservative Women's Organisation or future events.
