For many years, I commuted part-time to London. Whilst I was extremely fortunate to have flexible employment, I felt that ticketing could also be flexible to reflect the growing opportunities many working parents and carers were being offered by their employers. I was not alone in lobbying anyone I could to raise awareness of the issue and demand for flexible season tickets.
