It is fantastic to see so many of the areas that have been left unmowed full of daisies and other wildflowers. I was pleased to support the Greener Staplehurst group with identifying some potential sites that could be left unmowed last year. It was interesting to learn that currently verges on main roads have to be mown to ensure sight lines, as well as the unsuitability of many areas if they have a certain degree of tree cover.
