Once again, I am one of several local Conservative Cllrs who have used some of their members’ grants to help improve pitch facilities, specifically drainage, at Jubilee Fields. Many residents have been in touch over recent months to ask how to improve the facilities. We know that these playing pitches are used by hundreds of local children and that following the wet weather earlier in the year, some of the pitches were out of action for several months. We are hopeful the work will improve the playing surface and make it more resilient to excess rainfall in the winter months.
